STONEY CREEK QUILTERS GUILD

WORKSHOP SUPPLIES LIST

NOVEMBER |  Irene Puzinas - Quilted Cards

  •  2" or 2 1/2" fabric squares (think occasions - Christmas, juvenile, birthday, get well, masculine, etc.). Bring your scraps - everything can be used.
  • 8 1/2" X 11" card stock (you'll need 1 1/2 sheets for each card). Michael's sell packages of card stock,  complete with envelopes.
  • Envelopes for each card you intend to make.
  • Double sided fusible web - Wonder-Under, Steam a Seam 2 or similar.  Since this is going on card stock, it's a good time to use up old heavier fusible that you might not necessarily use on appliqué projects.
  • Double sided scotch tape.
  • Thread to co-ordinate with your fabric.  This will be used for doing decorative stitches, so if you have embroidery thread with a bit of sheen, that is great.
  • Sewing machine that can do a zig zag stitch.
  • Rotary cutter, ruler and small cutting mat.
  • Crystals, buttons or anything you would like to use to embellish your cards.  I will have my hot fix wand available with Swarovski crystals at a charge of 15 cents per crystal (my cost).

Irene can provide a kit including everything but the fabric for a charge of no more than $15.

  •     Please speak to Irene by October meeting your intent to purchase.
  •     This  will be strictly at her cost.
  •     You will still need your choice of fabric.
